i'm agnostic on whether the assassination attempt was staged, but the best argument for that theory is his theatrically brave behavior immediately afterward, which was very out of character
Trump has many terrible qualities - maybe all of the terrible qualities? — but one of the under-discussed ones is what a pathetic coward he is

If the punishment for a crime is a fine, it's legal for rich people.
A dude giving me an estimate on moving me told me that a super wealthy dude in the area had a zoning permit for one story but built three instead and he just pays the $10k+ in fines to the town every year.

Even though I'm largely ignorant about it, hearing about people transitioning makes me very emotional? It reminds me of all the hope and possibility and realization I felt getting sober and I wish that for everybody.
