It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.

If you didn't learn about the UK post office scandal already, PBS is running the miniseries "Mr. Bates vs. The Post Office." And it's good glimpse into the microcosm of the dysfunction, ass covering, & incompetence happening at most modern software enterprises & in dealing with their clients.

So, its not sucking me in quite as hard as Silo so far (Im on episode 4), but Pluribus has definitely given my partner and I a bunch of stuff to talk about. Spoopy sci-fi mystery stuff, existential quandaries, and an endless commentary on what we’d each be doing differently than Carol. 😀
