This time two years ago I was nervously getting ready for a date.
Despite the absolute rollercoaster of nonsense that my life has been since then, he’s still here fiercely loving me like it’s easy. And I’m just as mad about him. Wild, that.
Anyway, today we saw dinosaurs :) 🦖

Maybe I’m way too paranoid, or I’ve done too many InfoSec training videos but I probably would recommend that you do not do this.
On a train from Glasgow last week, the man next to me left a USB charger cable plugged in when he got off at Lancaster. I plugged my phone in. No-one complained, so I kept the cable when I left the train.

It's the Fesshole/Vagina Museum crossover event you've all been waiting for. Tons of you tagged us into this across all of our socials, asking for a fact-check. The consensus of the reply guys is that it Didn't Happen. However, this is in fact very possible. Here's why...

Lily Allen’s new album genuinely feels like overhearing the phone call of a girl crashing out on the night train home and knowing you absolutely shouldn’t be listening, but also she’s screaming the intimate details so loud that no amount of noise cancelling will save you.

Folks! I’m looking for an illustrator to do some in-game artwork for an unannounced project on a contract basis in November.
Feel free to shoot me a DM with your portfolio if you’re interested!
Must be based in the UK, and absolutely no AI 🌟

dunk on bad people's actions, not lack of intelligence
many good people were never going to be scholars. we exist in a distribution, do our best with what we got. people may wish they were smart. don't be mad if you had an easier time in school, more options. if you're tall, help people reach stuff

Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

I did A Level English language.
We studied phonetics, accents and dialects, the science of naming, child language development, things like the language of power or advertising or subcultures.
Not convinced that's going to fix the problems the HS thinks it will.

Keir Your Enthusiasm.
He had the audacity to follow me on Twitter. Turns out we used to work at the same game studio at different times. Once we started talking we never really stopped.
We both agreed cautious and slow, then absolutely fumbled that. Now he texts my dad and walks my dog, and I’m learning Portuguese.

Am not sure I have the algorithm power here, but have loved asking on Instagram:
How did you meet your romantic partner?

More positively, 2 years (and 2 days) ago I tried to aggressively slide into @fernandom76.bsky.social’s DMs to ask “what’s your damage?”
First time I attempted to start an argument in my life and clearly I sucked at it because a month later we met for dinner.

Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?

I illustrated a charity colouring book for my local shit posting page. A local anonymous artist apparently gifted a copy to Banksy as a gag gift.

My dad was given a 100 year old piano in exchange for organ lessons back in the 1980s.
All these years later I have to wonder who could give away such a beautiful instrument so easily.
