What's with all the talk predicated on the subjugation of Venezuela being a done deal? They kidnapped Maduro and Mrs and bombed a bit but that's it. It's a bigly big place El Trumpo. Watch it all unravel in the next few days.

If Trump becomes the plunder President and floods the US market with cheap oil it will cement his popularity with his wavering base.It worked for Hitler and make no mistake we are well into Hitler territory now.

Whatever you might think of Maduro, the seizure and kidnapping of a head of state takes us to a very dark place. Vast, arbitrary, extra-legal power, which could be exercised almost anywhere, regardless of the character of the target government.

So, one election stealing tyrant is bombing another election stealing tyrant to steal the oil he's stolen already. The bombs will only be falling on the little people so the blood stained elites won't care less.
Happy New Year.

Noting the doctrinaire "No Big Government" US Government is now trying to throttle NGOs by funding other Governments directly.
Nothing to do with crushing dissenting voices I trust?

#nzpol Excellent question...
I’m just at the point where if we need a freaking royal commission into one awful and tragic attack carried out by two extremists, why can’t we have one into the scourge of domestic violence that takes pretty much one woman’s life each week…carried out by “he seemed like a pretty good bloke”

My advice to Democrats is always "Stop trying to make shitty people like you." Rich shitty people or poor shitty people. If Democrats learned to tell shitty people to go fuck themselves, they'd never lose an election.
There’s a funny Politico story showing that the latest polling on AI shows 80-20 in favor of heavy regulations, an absolute slam dunk platform, but Dems are worried about not winning back mask-off tech CEO donors

I’m sick of this “low productivity” screeching by the whacko right. What does it mean? For them, too many workers rights and people taking time off when they could be at work. What do you mean you want to hang out with your family for a few weeks in the summer!? Think of the shareholder value!
