The California State University system spent $16.9 million last year giving ChatGPT to all students, faculty, and staff. We are asking the CSU chancellor not to renew the contract with OpenAI when it expires.

Anyone can sign the petition — link below!
The CSU/OpenAI contract is set to expire June 30, 2026.

Sign this petition: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/cancel-chatgpt-edu-invest-in-humans/ for the CSU NOT to renew the contract and to use the savings to protect jobs at CSU campuses facing layoffs.

Elon made the world's most un-sellable "truck." He hasn't developed a new car in years. He just shut down production of two models and he can barely sell the cars he is making. So now it's the pipe dream of "automation" keeping his meme stock afloat 🙄 #TeslaTakedown

More than 34,000 Minnesotans signed up to be trained as ICED observers with various activist groups in recent weeks, many of them since Jan. 7, when a federal agent shot and killed Renée Good.
Thousands of new ICE watchers hit the streets after two killings
Minnesotans outraged by the killings of Renée Good and Alex Pretti have signed up in large numbers to monitor and protest ICE with other activists.

I found the first investigative file from the first complainant against Epstein in 2005.

There are descriptions from the officer, over several interviews of the girl, of her pulling her knees up on the chair, drawing doodles, & the officer high-fiving her to keep her calm as she speaks of horror.

Any engineers here have an idea how much it would cost to tear down this junk heap? www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Trump wants to build a 250-foot-tall arch, dwarfing the Lincoln Memorial
The president is eyeing a plot of land near Memorial Bridge. The art critic who proposed the idea called for a smaller arch or for Trump to pick a new site.

I ❤️ Minneapolis

This ride was incredible, especially our interactions with folks at the memorials and with neighbors cheering on from their windows/porches.

ICE out, now.

Co-sign. Stand aside until your colleagues question gets answered.
This is happening a lot to female journalists. So here is a modest proposal for the White House press corps: Stand together. No one should ask another question until the President answers the question that was ignored.

Ok this is what I was trying to say but Asawin is better at it. His plan isn't gonna work if it tries to use procedural shit to gum up the works. They're too stupid to make that work. The only option when that fails will be to try and use random violence via ICE. And I don't think that works either.
It’s not doomerism to say trump, his party, and his government are trying to rig elections including the midterms; that’s just … reality

It is doomerism to act like they are likely to “cancel” the midterms or that their success in rigging it is at all a given
Hey now, I've been informed that such claims are doomerism, and that's something we shouldn't tolerate here.

Besides, everyone knows that the midterms will fix this.

One of the things about access journalism for political reporters is that, at times, we get real journalism out of it.
I reached Lutnick on his cell phone today. He said he could not comment because he had not seen the documents, claimed that he had “spent zero time with” Epstein, and then hung up.

Lutnick previously claimed that he was so revolted by Epstein that he had cut ties with him years earlier.
