Comer literally goes on to say “well it would be a problem if” and then lists several things THAT TRUMP HAS DONE IN THE PAST. And tried to keep secret.

Jesus Christ these people are like if the psychological concept of hypocrisy became a real person and put on a suit.
CNN: You are chairman of the Oversight Committee. Do you think Trump should divest from his business interests?

COMER: Well, I think he's been transparent

this fact is the definitive judgment on kirk's life
ultimately, no one even grieved Charlie Kirk. he was just another thing for the worst people on earth to get outraged over. and when the outrage of real events wasn't enough, they invented new ones.

not even his wife saw his death as anything other than an opportunity.
my read is they were trying to whip up the usual frenzy, but then the effort got blown up by Candace Owens saying The Jews did it

At this point I’d probably be fine with banning all social media entirely for everyone.

Feels like it was a mistake.
PUNCHBOWL: Cornyn “said he plans to introduce a bill “soon” that would ban users under age 16 from social media.”

The exact same thing will happen when Trump finally kicks it as well.

Most Americans (I think) don’t enjoy being assholes.

The ones that do get a lot of attention and they certainly are a significant portion of the population.

But not an outright majority. Not by any means.
there are pundits who will say that immigration is trump's strongest issue and that picking fights around immigration helps him on the margins. but i think this misunderstands the way public opinion works, as evidenced by trump's declining fortunes on his handling of immigration.

One of the crazier parts is the insistence that firing people must be a long and involved process (because apparently cashier is such an important role that great care must be paid) as if we don’t live in a country where thousands of people could lose their jobs if the CEO saw a bird he didn’t like.
As usual with this magazine, the author concedes throughout that the point he's making is dumb as hell.
December 12, 2025 at 6:47 PM
If this were true they would maybe, I dunno, get him to switch hands.
Q: Can you explain what's going on with the bandages on Trump's hand?

LEAVITT: We've given you an explanation. The president is literally constantly shaking hands.

Trump: How do we bring Gen Z back to us?

Advisor: Free healthcare? Help with housing? Stop fucking up the job market?

T: No. Something that won’t take money away from my toys

A: You could resign?

T: *motions to agents to arrest advisor*

A: UHH…LEGALIZE POT?

T: 🤔 *calls off guard* Good enough.
🍃 SCOOP 🍃

President Trump is preparing to order his administration to dramatically loosen restrictions on MARIJUANA.

The order would reclassify cannabis from Schedule I — the same level as heroin — to Schedule III — the same level as Tylenol and codeine and some steroids.
Trump seeks to cut restrictions on marijuana through planned order
The president is expected to attempt to classify marijuana similar to some common prescription painkillers and other drugs.

It’s always hard for me to gauge GOP field efforts as I’m not welcome in those circles, but after Elon Musk’s supposedly major door knocking push turned out to be just folks desperate for a paycheck being transported to the middle of nowhere in a moving van…I wouldn’t be scared of this threat.
I’ve lost count of the number of elected Republican officials around the country who have been threatened with MAGA primary challengers for a variety of reasons. It is in the hundreds. What fun it must be to be a Republican who has an independent thought or position!
December 12, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Republicans: “We don’t want to help pay for your health insurance and don’t care if you die.”

Americans: “We don’t like that.”

Also Republicans: “What do you MEAN? How dare you! If you don’t like it we’ll just try and kill you harder, how about THAT?!”
Enten on Trump being 40 points underwater on healthcare: "That is gosh darn awful! It's horrendous ... the bottom line is Americans very much dislike Donald Trump on healthcare ... this is just awful politics for Republicans ... they don't buy the Republican spin at all"

Trump pardoned most of their leadership for sedition against America, so I’m gonna guess that no, we don’t still designate them as an extremist organization.
WALKINSHAW: Are you familiar with the Proud Boys?

GLASHEEN: I'm familiar with the name

WALKINSHAW: Does the FBI still designate them as an extremist organization? They did during Trump's first term

GLASHEEN: We are in the process right now of changing our, uh, categories for domestic terrorism

Love how like every idea that Trump has regarding the Fed is something that will devastate the entire world economy and the most we can do to stop him is to admonish him to wait until the terms are up and not try and implement his idiotic plans earlier than statute allows.
"All twelve regional bank presidents are up for renewal in February, and Hassett and Bessent have hinted a purge may be coming. The pretext would be a new, bogus, long-term residency requirement that Bessent proposed...This would be the way Trump co-opts the Fed." open.substack.com/pub/thebulwa...

NEW: Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser (D) says Colorado will not release Tina Peters after President Trump announced he is pardoning her state-level convictions.

"This is a lawless act. It's an act of intimidation," Weiser said. "It has no basis in the American law."

Since I have as much authority to issue federal pardons as Trump does to issue state ones, I declare that NY AG James is hereby pardoned from all mortgage related issues because I’m sick of them wasting everyone’s time with these nonsense indictments.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
NEW: President Donald Trump says he is granting a pardon to Tina Peters, who was convicted on state charges related to tampering with Colorado's election systems. Legal experts say presidential pardons do not apply to state charges.

This is court tampering and fabricating evidence. I don’t care if it supposedly comes from a judge.

You cannot just retroactively produce evidence that supports your case and claim it was valid six years ago after you lost.

The judge needs to be held in contempt and prosecuted.
Judge Xinis ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release in part bc ICE could not produce a final “order of removal” to deport him. So last night, they went out and got an immigration judge to issue one.

Now, Abrego is urging Xinis to block his redetention. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Oh uh…wait, no gosh this is crazy but I just found this piece of paper wedged behind a file cabinet. Turns out we were correct all along and just lost the paperwork for six years. Bureaucracy am I right?
A federal judge ruled Thu morning that no order of removal for Abrego Garcia had ever existed. By Thu evening, an immigration judge had conjured a “Immigration Court’s Sua Sponte Order Correcting Scrivener’s Error," Abrego Garcia's lawyers tell the judge in the emergency overnight filing:

There have to be consequences for christ’s sake. Come on Republicans.

You can’t get more abusive of the democratic system if you tried. Let the dementia patient go.
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

What is this fuck-ass prosperity gospel bullshit doing in my government?
Lutnick: "We should be bringing in the best and brightest, and that's what Donald Trump is changing about our immigration system. Let's expedite the best and brightest who are gonna give a million dollars to the US to prove they're at the top of the list."

Like they have to know that someone is going to make a short where Mickey Mouse is Hitler, right?

Thousands of them. Every character will be Hitler.

Did nobody explain to them that would happen?

Does Disney support Mickey Hitler?

I kinda want her lawyers to file a brief on this. The judge’s response is bound to be hilarious.

But nobody could be dumb enough to try, right?
This presidential “pardon,” as it’s for a state crime, is the equivalent of digital toilet paper, only flimsier and serving a less useful purpose.

I love how after barely a week since partnering with CNN, Kalshi just proved unequivocally why their entire business is a bullshit grift.

This is basically a national level meme coin rug pull.
People who bet on this on Kalshi are not pleased. Lol

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!
