I try and avoid political posts because… well… *gestures*, but I am *still* seeing posts from Americans talking about stuff that the “next president” will have to clean up after “the next election” and it blows my mind that even despite… well… *gestures*, they still think there’ll be one.

I'm always amazed when people tell me they don't trust the mainstream media and instead get their news from like, Joe Rogan (literally the example someone gave me). Mate, where do you think Rogan got HIS news from?
It’s old-fashioned to defend mainstream journalism these days but some of the most reliable reporting from people actually on the ground will be the AP and Reuters the next 24 hours. Your Substack journalist writing takes will be using frontline reporting from them.
