Absolutely loving the extended run the bench players are getting tonight. Bones shooting the lights out, Beringer getting blocks, Miller looking…like a basketball player. Even Ingles making some sweet passes. This is super fun scrub time!

Watching The Long Walk while on the treadmill is an interesting way for me to keep my pace up 😅

Just do this everywhere. That something like "tax the rich so school kids can have food" needs to be voted on (and doesn't get 100% of the vote) routinely boggles my mind. The selfishness of such wide swaths of our society makes me profoundly sad.

This film is definitely not for everyone, but it is DEFINITELY for me. Non-stop action, wonderfully choreographed fights, a hyper-kinetic approach, and some decent humor make for a fully engaged watch. I loved it and think anyone who enjoys action will get a kick out of it.

So it looks like tonight's Wolves game is ALSO on Peacock again. Why the hell am I paying for FanDuel when it can't provide all the Wolves games? It's not like it's a cheap service...
What kind of bullshit is this? The Wolves game is only on Peacock? Who the hell has Peacock? I already pay for FanDuel Sports to stream games. I'm not gonna pay for YET ANOTHER pointless streamer for a regular season game. Sigh..... Go Wolves, I guess. I'll check the box score in the morning.

Is it just me, or do hamstring injuries never seem to heal fully? I did have a grade 2 tear mid-summer, but even months later after feeling back to (mostly) full strength, all it took was making a hard cut in ultimate yesterday to wreck it again.

Was reminiscing with the 8yo about when we built a trampoline together this summer. Now it's a leaf repository after all the leaves fell 😅

This felt like a spy thriller ripped out of the late 90s/early 00s. Which means it was... fine. I never felt like our protagonist was ever truly in danger and the "what if MacGyver was an IT dork" got less believable as the film went on. But I was entertained. So... 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, the company would be better off without him. Especially when we have quotes like this combined with his far right belief structure. Little good can come from it.

Can we just make this our usual court design and keep the purple jersey as our primary home jersey? They're easily the best looking versions of each for the Wolves.
AND an accompanying court to match 🥵🥵🥵

Being late to everything means you’re a bad person. A key narcissistic personality trait: letting other people know they and their time are not important compared to whatever you feel like doing at a given moment.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

Dammit. I've gotta add to my project list to dump Ring and replace their devices with something else at our house. I don't have time for this shit.

Finally got around to watching this. It was good... a tad bit over long and it doesn't really go off the rails until the final 1/4 of the film, but otherwise a great mish-mash of a creature feature and social commentary on youth & hypersexualization.

Thinking back on the summer and how much of a pain in the ass searching for a new tech job was.

I applied to 96 jobs, made it through countless initial interviews, and was a finalist for 3 roles (where they went with the other candidate) before landing my current role.
