A Canadian-made armoured vehicle was spotted on Minneapolis streets the day ICE murdered Alex Pretti.

The company that sold ICE that monster as part of a $10 million deal? Roshel.

What’s more:

Canada’s government brought Roshel’s CEO on a trade mission SIX DAYS AFTER Renee Good was murdered.

Also, the arctic vortex wandering south like this IS an indicator of climate change, as it is due to the destabilization of the jet stream and oceanic currents.
Yes, it’s cold across part of the United States today.

This does *not* mean the global-scale patterns of long-term warming linked to climate change are not happening.

The United States covers only 1.8% of the planet. And a few days is only 0.03% of the 30 years we average for climate statistics.

Yeah, it Is a good speech, but I want Carney to put his money where his mouth is. It's also baffling to hear him say all this neat stuff about all the cool things Canada's doing when This Shit happens under him:

It's on the lofty side of things, but: set up an animation studio and/or publishing house so I can finesse and mass-produce all five dozen of the ideas that I have kicking around up in my noggin before I die.

Remember that ICE is a cartoonishly evil organization that can be defeated in cartoonish ways. We think these people are an unstoppable force until fucking Dennis the Menace pulls up and embarrasses them in front of the whole world.

Quite frankly, it’s outrageous that Mark Carney is cutting Statistics Canada. If he was Stephen Harper or Pierre Poilievre, I feel like this would be getting a lot more backlash.

Carney of all people should know the importance of high-quality data and information about the country.

If anything, installing the Conrad the Raccoon plaque (a) shows that history sometimes has a sense of humour, (b) shows Heritage Toronto has a good sense of what interests Torontonians, (c) makes history accessible, and (d) adds to the local colour #TOHistory
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is upset that Heritage Toronto spent money on a plaque commemorating the death of Conrad the Raccoon 10 years ago. But as I wrote, Conrad touched the heart of this cold city. open.substack.com/pub/lloydalt...
