Folks want to say that this ceasefire happened because the White House wanted it to, and maybe. This deal is an amalgamation of a variety of efforts that have been working independently of each other for years. Blair, the Saudis.

Chaim Peri told another Nir Oz hostage, who was released in the first ceasefire, that a general hostage deal would take two years, because "it's Bibi and we're leftists." He was subsequently murdered last year and never saw his prediction come true to within days.

I think if Anakin hadn't turned on him in RotS, he would have had no choice after killing Palpatine. He wouldn't see himself as Emperor but as the person talked with restoring the Republic and rooting out any remaining sith.

When I frequently commuted from West Philly to Newark, the folding E-bike was a life-saver. 10 minutes to the train station, the bike goes into the overhead compartment, 5 minutes to the office.
