Hey @maddow.bsky.social @lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social @kaitlancollins.bsky.social
In 1916 the US bought the Dutch West Indies from Denmark for $25 Million AND the USA acknowledged Denmark's rights to Greenland in exchange.

THE USA SIGNED IT and INITIATED THE AGREEMENT

So, let me get it straight... The new rule would require DOJ lawyers to violate rules of professional conduct?
SCOOP: The Trump DOJ is preparing to eliminate the ability of U.S. Attorneys to recuse themselves from cases due to conflicts of interest.

A new rule expected to be filed this week will put that power in the hands of Pam Bondi.
DOJ Moves to Eliminate Attorney Recusals in Sweeping Power Shift
Proposed rule would strip prosecutors of ethical independence and place conflict decisions solely in the hands of the attorney general

For the confused:

- Nazis are bad.
- Hitler was evil.
- Murder is wrong.
- Imperialism is wrong.
- The Gestapo was evil.
- Internment camps are wrong.
- Immigrants commit fewer crimes.
- Your ancestors were probably immigrants, too.
- Doing nothing to stop this madness is complicity.

Be aware that federal agents often infiltrate peaceful protests to instigate and provoke violence. These are agent provocateurs who should be treated as hostile actors. This video provides concrete proof of these embedded spies.

Shane Gillis nails it: immigration is serious policy, not content.

If you have to turn deportations into jokes and TikToks, you’re admitting you can’t defend what you’re doing on the merits.

Serious governments don’t need punchlines.

It increasingly seems like many of these ICE goons are masking not because they're worried we'll learn who they are out of uniform and more because they're worried what other uniforms they've worn.
I wonder how long it will take the media to catch on to the fact that ICE’s recruiting spree has effectively deputized every white supremacist hate group out there.

I'm a cheap skate and I use a Canon EOS R10 for work, but the only scenario where I'll throw my camera is if I know that if I don't, I'll suffer a total loss.

Which was exactly the scenario John was facing when he was illegally assaulted by federal agents for doing his job
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
