People, including Nick Saban, say Jordan-Hare Stadium is haunted

So, of course, I called experts, spent hours in the Auburn library researching past land use, bought ghost-hunting gear, used the ghost-hunting gear and tried to find out the truth

Somehow, LSU has made Auburn a more appealing position for both AD and football coaches. And that takes talent given the coaching chaos Auburn has had recently.

I am so grateful for Catholic organizations like St. Vincent de Paul Society. And I am proud my dad leads our local parish’s chapter. But they are going to overwhelmed with calls for assistance soon. It’s going to be a long holiday season for him and others.

A lot of hot takes about protests reveal that people generally have poor knowledge of the Civil Rights Movement. It wasn't as though a single protest enabled change. I think most importantly, protest was a skill that was taught, which was how you got iconic moments like Rosa Parks on the bus.
People fought for nearly a century for their constitutional rights in Jim Crow Alabama, when there was little to no hope that they would see the end of apartheid. If nothing else, battling for principle creates a foundation and an example for others to follow.

Once again I am calling on Americans to remember that the most Democratic area in Alabama is the rural Black Belt
Q: “Most hospitals + people who will lose insurance are in rural areas. If Trump & Republicans are so intent on sticking it to their own voters, why not let them?”

@aoc.bsky.social : “That’s the difference between us & Trump. I don’t care if you voted for me, I want you to have health care.”

The chaotic millennial Catholic in me CANNOT wait to witness the American Conservative “Catholic” schism. I’ll stick with the classic Vatican, but good lord I need to know where the new Vatican American based will be.
BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV is set to effectively disband Opus Dei in the coming weeks.

This would be the most sweeping internal reform of his pontificate — and a dramatic continuation of Pope Francis’s legacy.
NEW: Pope Leo Set To Break Up Opus Dei
If Pope Leo does indeed approves a plan that effectively dissolves Opus Dei’s structure, it would be the most significant internal action of his short pontificate to date.
