Still pseudonymous for work reasons.
Regulation, justice, climate - are among things I work on.
Science fiction, Baroque music, Frank Zappa are things I don't work on and enjoy very much.

The incident of this type that sticks out in my mind are the several times in - I wanna say Hangzhou or Nanjing (maybe both) - that some park/mall rent-a-cops made a huge stink and detained groups of 20-sthing cosplayers for "Dressing Japanese."

They were wearing hanfu.

It's been going in the same "weird hyper nationalist direction" for years and years. This is a shocking incident, but at the same time it's really nothing new. Every now and again, something insane at this level will occur.

Mais qui est donc "cette journaliste" dont parle CNews ?

À deux doigts de proposer à @wikipediafr.bsky.social de créer la page "cette journaliste" (sur le modèle de la page "une femme"), renvoyant vers celle de Fedorova.

still reeling from the fact that Amazon apparently spent 100s of millions of dollars trying to build a competitor to Steam that no one fucking heard of until some dude on LinkedIn talked about how it had bombed, and, like, they just face ZERO consequences for that waste of money.

But Biden was too old

NYT, Nuzzi etc. All going into history books as contributors to millions of preventable deaths and uncountable misery
the Doug Mills video embedded in the NYT Trump aging story is pretty amazing

Here’s an unedited picture I just took of my asymmetrical, 45-year-old face with no makeup and weird lighting.

Which I am showing y’all because I need you to understand that Emil Bove is younger than I am.

The UK is the worst. East Asia has, er, issues. The Anglosphere in general is badly contaminated by transphobia. Then a few countries with religious-conservative influence. Everyone else going "dude, go to whichever bathroom's right for you!"

italy just out here doing queer fascism

Wellness grifters need to be called out and shut down because they do actual, real harm to anyone who pays them for their “wisdom”

This guy claims ADHD doesn’t exist and if you have arthritis? It’s self-inflicted

He also claims he has a PhD in philosophy. I challenged that immediately
