I think that’s true.

The Texas law even applies in legal malpractice cases. A lawyer sued for filing a defective answer was deemed to be sued for exercising his right to free speech & to petition the government. It’s madness.

Maybe they can be carefully drafted, but that’s super hard to do. They end up oppressive.
