A Texas A&M University appeals panel has unanimously ruled that the school was “not justified” when it fired a lecturer who had been accused of teaching a course that recognized more than two genders.

Anyone know of research on the 50-year commemoration of the U.S. Constitution in 1837? All I have found so far is Milton Klein's 1995 article “Mythologizing the U.S. Constitution.” I am working with a high school teacher who wants to use Van Buren's inaugural address to analyze the commemoration.

In a profession where the most prominent journalists are increasingly jockeying for position on the best-seller lists and talk show circuits, you'd think one of them would've figured out that punching the bully back would be the most effective way to distance themselves from the pack.
