Right on. This a very good team. 4 lines deep and 3 d pairings deep. Many young guys in the wings. Why complain about any player at this stage. Only gap we have is on faceoffs that can be addressed internally or with deadline trade. Breath in and out for the fans

I kind of feel the same way. Unfortunately for Laine, he hasn't exactly been put in a situation that takes advantage of his strengths but, at the moment, there is really no other spot for him.

This is definitely one of my pet peeves about the fan base. I mean, we finally have a young team that’s extremely promising yet. We always have to find something to complain about or we need a goalie controversy. It’s just ….🙄I don’t get it.

I think Eric Engels mentioned in a piece that MSL was taking a similar approach with Laine as he did with Anderson. Going to the 4th line to open up space to learn. People were talking about how JA wouldn't be able to adapt, even Gallagher. Learning doesn't happen overnight or in a vacuum.

Laine hasn't been as bad as many claim. He's been decent, but that doesn't mean I see a clear spot for him in the lineup. Lots of things are yet to be sorted throughout the lineup. #Habs

One thing that will be interesting to watch this season is how teams will try to neutralize Lane Hutson. Undoubtedly, his play has been studied by opponents in the off-season. It will be a cat and mouse game.

In two games so far this season, opponents have really tried to smother Demidov in the offensive zone. His reputation will earn him extra attention and it will be interesting to see how his game evolves over the course of the season. #Habs
