I think a point system would definitely be a concept worth the commander panel’s consideration at some point in the future. I don’t know if it’s an answer. It may be deemed too complex for tracking. I don’t know, but it’s an idea worth expanding on.

I just finished watching this, and you had a somewhat throwaway line at the end that’s really sticking with me: a point system for game changers. I think there’s a germ of something worth expanding there. My groups often throw out “What’s the difference between 3 and 5 game changers.”

The best part is adding Farewell to the Game Changers list. That is a card that never should have been printed, but I also didn’t think it should be banned. Farewell is now has an appropriate designation that forces players to make active decisions around its inclusion in decks.

I have despised this card since I first saw it. I never thought it should be banned, but there haven’t always been tools for Commander to handle cards like this that shouldn’t be banned but also shouldn’t be in a whole lot of pods. Designating it a Game Changer is perfect.

I hope the seven D House reps that voted for this are watching it fail, and that they now see that they need to come to grips with what voters actually want of them in holding this regime accountable for their state terror.

This. I am done returning to the status quo of what got us here. I want universal healthcare. I want a maximum wage tied to the minimum wage. I want omnipresent, cheap public transit and walkable neighborhoods. I want Supreme Court and police reform, and I want the rich to pay their fair share.
We need to pick up this Overton Window and throw it as far as we can. Stop waiting for shit to “be popular” and start advocating for what is transparently right.
