Rather than being patronizing and refusing to try you could instead, you know, just try and help us get the healthcare in a way that you don’t personally profit from it. That is an option. You might fail, but you could just try to do one good thing. That would be better than this.
How much are you going to pay doctors?

Which current hospitals get shut down ?

What happens if doctors opt out of the system ? Who is going to invest in new curative therapies. You ?

How much in taxes pr year do you think it's possible to collect if you took every penny from billionaires?
Half the amount that everyone currently pays could provide universal healthcare. Private health companies don’t need to exist. Eliminate them. And use your collective buying power and economies of scale to get it done. Every cent of their profit is healthcare denied.

My first seasonal viewing of The Muppet’s Christmas Carol has begun, and so begins my commentary about how awesome the set design of this movie is. The use of asymmetry and non-right angles to create unease and fear is something straight out of the Cabinet of Doctor Caligari. Great filmmaking.

The quintessential American sports washer doesn’t realize that every single disparity they describe in their imagined scenario describes our current situation, but in our current situation more people don’t have access to healthcare. Yeah, I’ll fucking take the trade offs.
For all Universal HC/Single Payer/M4A advocates.

What do the biggest, expensive hospital chains do. Do they opt out and only serve the rich ?

Who in the USA gov runs the program?

R U ok with having to see a primary care doc before you can see a specialist ?

My dad and I had tickets to a release night showing of the Star Wars theatrical re-release. We had time to kill before the movie, so we saw Michael staring John Travolta. The theater was empty. I probably would have forgotten it if we had seen it any other time. Then we saw Star Wars.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

Everyone is understandably ripping on the mac, but I genuinely think the green beans and carrots might just be raw. They look like they weren’t even in a room with a cooking implement. Please, blanch those and then sauté them in some bacon fat next time. At least dress them in some sauce.

[Gets home from Pax.] I wonder what happened on the internet today. Let’s open Blu… My time was definitely better spent at the con than watching the Eagles today.

That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music, do you?

What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?

I truly can’t pick one album from this year. 2000 was a genuinely god tier year for album releases. You can look it up. I’m going to have to settle for the album that took hold of my spinal chord and never let go.

This is not about Jason’s reporting. I just can’t take Rockstar as a good faith actor or source for that kind of info.
NEW: Rockstar Games says the 30+ employees it fired last week were leaking confidential information, disputing allegations that the company is union-busting.

The union says it was a private chat with labor organizers. This messy battle isn't over yet. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
