While I think all of this is just awful, there is an intense fear of being a parent, and guilt when they are sick. And I understand how for some people the idea that there is a single cause for a problem can turn into an insane witch hunt. but it’s not helpful in any way.
And for that matter, while I love Springsteen, his discussion of his own trauma, and the national trauma, is incredible. But it is not cool. But admitting to killing a man in Reno just to watch him die is VERY cool.
Look, I think he’s been great, and Russia left him no real options, but to have the Nobel Peace Prize go to the guy who has been managing a war for several years seems…odd. Maybe after he wins and shows mercy or wisdom in victory, or helps to negotiate a fair and lasting peace.

has anyone mentioned the wild horses on Assateague (and other small islands)? I’ve seen them rip open tents for food, stomp birds to death to suck out the marrow from their bones, and attack kids. We are two, maybe three generations from every horse trying to kill us.
There's a bike lane just a block away that's super safe! You just have to cut behind the police academy and cross Charles. They have really safe bike racks.
