Adding to the thread here's him saying he references ai. Given everything else I don't think he was just referencing it but I get that people are gonna be biased in favour of an artist they follow.

And its not like its a bad style. There are legit artists who do that level of rendering. But why do you feel you need to copy that? That's not what artistic creation should be about. You're forsaking your own style to chase what the AI wants. Sacrificing all originality for digital perfection.

Important to remember that this is why the fash are so stuck on telling people that it is cringe to care. They want to discourage people from doing small things like this to stop them.
Everyone has a part to play. Even—especially—the person who moderates the subreddit for videos of people patting their cat on the butt really rapidly.
This is an excellent example of someone using their power to shun those that deserve it.
