Inclusive democracy. Houstonian at heart. Opinions expressed here are my own.
If UGA demographics had any impact on this outcome, then the Dawgs may be forgiven for their win over Alabama this past Saturday in the SEC championship game.

The political messaging around democracy was and will always be worth it. Because it's direct, to-the-point, truthful about what's going on in this country.

It's not like we have to choose one talking point over another. We can have both affordability AND democracy

Obviously no one should have to go through this but also what does she think happens to people she attacks? She can see what her audience does! Probably rude to say, but it’s worth stressing that the (rightful) disgust she feels is the taste of her own medicine.

Disgusting behavior from a "law enforcement" officer

Awful optics

I’ve reported on so many regular people being threatened and villified by conspiracy theories and hatred for people, many times spread by MTG. It’s awful when anyone has to deal with harassment and threats and I wonder if the congresswoman can look inward, too

Americans can take the heat - we've been putting up with fascist cosplayers all year. This is more of the same.

But can Republicans withstand the backfire when Americans make themselves heard about disrupted holiday plans?

Unlikely.

The one whose legs trembled but never bent a knee to this authoritarian?

Or the one that demonstrated fealty to a fault to their own president, who ultimately blamed them (correctly) for dragging out the shutdown?

This will be the envy of the world, even China. It may not be as fast as some bullet trains in Asia, but it will connect people across borders, languages, economies, and cultures. It will bridge gaps. It will quite literally become part of the democratic infrastructure of Europe
By 2040, your train journeys will be transformed:

📍 Copenhagen – Berlin: from 7hr to 4hr
📍 Paris – Rome: from 10hr50 to 8hr45
📍 Sofia – Athens: from 13hr40 to 6hr
📍 Vienna – Ljubljana: from 6hr05 to 4hr30

There's always a caveat with Trump's Republican party. Because simply governing in a way that advantages all americans does not personally benefit them.
Good news: The Trump administration has agreed to partially fund SNAP benefits.

Bad news: They refused to use additional sources of funding that could provide full payments to SNAP beneficiaries in November.
