I was looking for something to listen to and Bajour came up in a list of Broadway musicals. I vaguely remember @bcdreyer.social talking about it so I thought I’d give it a listen. Twenty seconds into the first song I realized he said it was a musical that will never get a revival. Boy, was he right.

-sassy chorines tap dancing
-one last score then I can quit this game for good
-Edna May Oliver being salty
-sideshow, circus or carnival
-crime on a boat or a train
-the proscenium may be crumbling, but we're gonna put on this show, dammit
-lonely person keeps doing tragic, uncomfortable things that make them even lonelier
-life-affirming space travel (aka nice aliens)
-Cary Grant doesn't wanna have sex
-principled lawyer/cowboy/politician in a town of sickos
