As a sometimes gun reply guy, I want to apologize to Katherine on behalf of gun reply guys for the flack she is taking for a very reasonable and nuanced essay.
But to defend our neighbors and democracy, here and now, the vast majority of people would serve better (and *be* better served) by taking up entirely different kinds of training, and participating in very different kinds of confrontation against the state.
