this is why driverless cars don’t actually do anything to improve traffic. Cars are incredibly inefficient devices on a “space occupied to passengers carried” metric and making them driverless just means they eat up space in our cities while carrying even fewer people on average

It is the single largest donation Knight has made to an Oregon candidate or political action committee.

In Morrow County, healthy adults were coming down with unexplained medical conditions, including diseases that usually afflicted the elderly.

In a survey of 30 homes, at least 25 miscarriages and a half dozen people living with one kidney were reported.

I know all the various defenses of piracy, and can agree with some of them (preservation is important!) but when it comes to books, there really ain't any excuse I buy. More than any other medium, authors directly rely on royalties from purchases. Every purchase gets them income, even from big pubs.
Do not steal books, I beg. Borrow from a library. Libraries lend e-books!

We even credited everyone who worked on localization - yes, including temporarily trade show localization that didn’t ship in the final game. Crediting people is super cool and very legal you should do it too!
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

One of the myriad reasons I despise Waymos is that they are *deeply* antisocial. Instead of building safe and reliable mass transit, we're given hermetic pods that increase congestion and cause wear and tear on the infrastructure we all pay for.

I'm immensely sick of the figure heads of game dev companies being silent about the harassment of game devs. This is how this nonsense becomes "the norm" and it should have never been accepted as such in the first place.
