I've just finished reading the judgment in the Lehrmann appeal to the Federal Court and a few points really stuck out - apart from the fact that the appeal judges agreed that Lehrmann's story was an absolute fabrication.

Lisa Wilkinson was found to have been poorly done by in the original judgment

Sadly, very true. I think Covid has proven that sacrificing the elderly and medically vulnerable is acceptable if it means keeping the wheels of commerce moving. There were politicians that basically said it out loud. Boris Johnson and Tony Abbott being the most notable.
