Turns out they're running part of their mining operations in Canada. www.thestar.com/opinion/star...

It's a refuge for criminals and a cash cow for the man who wants to annex us, yet bitcoin is still being mined in Canada.

$1 billion data centre to maybe create 100 jobs. That's likely an overstatement.

It is truly not worth draining the living word for this vampiric tech and people are starting to realize it.

Over the last 2 months Ukraine has scored 100 Gripens and 100 Rafale fighter jets for its military, dwarfing the need for US F16s. The manufacturing of these systems will be divided between the EU and Canada as both push to become further independent from the unreliable US arms industry.

AI sucks up way too much power & water & raw materials. Most energy used in its data centres is sourced from fossil fuels which results in the expansion of harmful greenhouse gases. AI sucks, period, because the environment & sustainability of AI is getting much too little attention.

The economic sense is so extremely in favour of renewables now, Pakistan is even paying Qatar penalties to rather NOT deliver the fossil gas that Pakistan already placed orders for, because their Solar PV and batteries make much more sense.

It saves them money to cancel their gas imports and pay!
So Pakistan is *paying* Qatar to *not* deliver LNG because even including this penalty payment their solar PV and battery spending is much better value for money and saves them billions.

How fascinating!
