this is an extremely adorable book, really, do spend 99p on the experience of reading it one chapter a day in December! Llin's work is substantial, like cream and chocolate and other nice things with heft: she's not silly or slight, she gives you beautiful romance that sticks.

this is an extremely adorable book, really, do spend 99p on the experience of reading it one chapter a day in December! Llin's work is substantial, like cream and chocolate and other nice things with heft: she's not silly or slight, she gives you beautiful romance that sticks.
So I’m aware that if I were ten years older I’d have had years of buying a Guardian every day and thinking nothing of it. i feel like journalism is a good thing right now to spend money on & I’m considering what.

oh also I thought I'd give After Hours at Dooryard Books a try, cos everyone's all, this one isn't terminally cosy, and I enjoyed a lovely chapter before sudden babyfic.

Despite being disproportionately into Quatermass and the Pit (1958) for someone born not in that year, I've only just now watching the Hammer horror remake, and my god 1967 seems to have been a time.

It ended up taking 1 hour 15. In the rain. Urgh.
I know that some people have cars and on the whole that is sub-optimal but sometimes it’s pouring with rain and your 2.7 mile journey is going to take 50 minutes
