Here’s a typical bundle of file papers from the Boston Municipal Court archives. It probably hasn’t been unwrapped since it was docketed in 1822. The organization of the sub-layers is significant, & I always photograph bundles so that I can put them back together as I found them. I love this work! 🗃️

Why is there a tax on groceries in any state?

Regressive ass tax policy.

Makes a big difference also because when you bottom-water, the roots grow downwards to reach the water. I have noticed my plants do better with it (irrespective of the self watering aspect)

What kind of pots do you have them in? The self watering pots has made ALL the difference in the world. I cannot emphasize enough! It’s the perfect cushion for when work/life/ general space cadet-ing gets in the way. These ones like to get hit at least weekly in MA—I imagine more often in TX sun.

I’m eventually going to do a thread on this but the interim update is the self watering pots have been a godsend. Everyone is thriving even through a big work thing during which I completely neglected watering anything for like 4-6 weeks.

These are my top 2 show stars

Even the way they talk about healthcare is painfully hamfisted—because they don’t have a plan. There is no plan!!

Thune is out here giving just giving Democrats “secret backfill deals negotiated in the dead of night to take away your healthcare” on a silver platter.

It’s SO GOOD! I’m not the best baker but the first attempt they came out incredible! 2nd try I got too fussy rolling the dough and they didn’t come out as good. Going to revert back to my initial approach on today’s attempt.

They take forever to make but are worth the effort (imho)!
