Why are you so determined to be ruled by English public school wankers who hate you rather than "take back control"?

Papers who genuinely care about antisemitism as a bad thing, rather than as a handy weapon with which to berate the left, would not behave like the Times. This isn’t some random commenter on a FB page, this is *Reform’s campaign manager in the most consequential by-election in years*, & it’s gross.
I keep checking The Times homepage, knowing how red hot it was on AS under Corbyn, and… amid plenty of Reform coverage, this story's conspicuously absent.

🫠 Can anyone think of a major political event that made the British economy less attractive - maybe around 2016?

Nigel Farage lashes out at a FT journalist and refuses to answer the question.

Is this how Reform UK would ignore media questions if they got into government?

Victoria Derbyshire allowing Zia Yusuf to tie himself in absolute knots by asking him simple questions about Reform policy.

A masterclass in quality journalism.
"So will it be the same act but with a different label?"

Victoria Derbyshire humiliates Zia Yusuf on Reform UK's plan to scrap the Equalities Act, because, as she reads each of the things from the Equalities act he confirms they'll still be protected 🤷‍♂️

Farage has announced his Shadow Cabinet, with no Health Secretary.

Presumably because if he becomes Prime Minister, there’ll be no NHS.

another favourite scientific headline, following confirmation of Einstein's general theory of relativity by observations of the 1919 solar eclipse. "Stars not where they seemed or were calculated to be, but nobody need worry" is a beautiful sentiment. i would have that on a t-shirt

Of course. Why would you invest in soft power?

It just helps in the kind of warfare that:

a) Russia has shown it's actually good at;
b) Russia is waging on the West already;
c) The UK/NATO nuclear deterrent is useless in preventing;
d) Costs a fraction to fund compared to military hardware.

When you look at how many billionaires see spending their money trying to buy the opportunity to influence people, the UK throwing this away was always the height of idiocy. Fucking tories.
BBC's Arabic radio service in Lebanon closed after 85 years as part of a £28.5m savings drive. 'Just months later, in October 2023, the Russian state-owned Sputnik news agency took over the frequency. Its news bulletin opened with “This is Moscow”, replacing the previous “This is London” intro.' 🙄

Just checking, it's now ok to flee your homeland, because you're afraid for your safety, and seek refuge in another Country?

Glad we've cleared that up. Let's hear no more about immigration and refugees then.

🧵I watched Forbidden Planet last night. Hadn't seen it for decades. A super-intelligent race is destroyed, despite its technological advances, by its own subconscious primitive fears and greed, 'the monster of the ID'. Hashtag AI, etc.
Anyway, couldn't help but notice how the film influenced others.

Here are some of his views

🔘He believes neo-nazi Great Replacement theory

🔘Writes only negatively about non-white people

🔘Favours eugenics-era immigration as Nazis did

🔘Likes a book where hero kills a person who supports migrants
If you wonder why Stephen Miller is orchestrating ICE hate into the streets of the US, emails that show who he really is may have been forgotten but here they are, sitting in plain sight

Neo-nazism and White Nationalism support feature strongly
