Farage wanting to kick people out of the country because they migrated here made me angry and made me think about which best of British people and things wouldn't have happened were it not for the brilliance of immigration to the UK.

Less than 230,000 people signed up to Farage’s party Reform UK - media won’t shut the fuck up about it.

Over 600,000 people signed up to Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana’s new party - absolute crickets from the media.

You will never convince me the media isn’t complicit in the rise of the far right

This. It's like how Southerners used to transcribe Oasis as saying "fookin'". No. They said "fuckin'". Southerners say "fahrkin".
Wet blanket here. These stupid things never fucking work because *obviously* people in Manchester already read Aldi as Aldeh. They'll read Aldeh as a different word. You London-centric pricks. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It's a shame that international student numbers will be cut, because only 2% of voters want their post-study work limited and they bring £37bn to the country. But Britain has gone mad and willingly chosen poverty, so there it is, nothing to be done. www.russellgroup.ac.uk/news/new-pol...

The first posy in a thimble I made, to lift my mood during the pandemic. The flowers are all real.

When humans look at plants (even on a screen as here) we recover from stress 60% more quickly & the relaxation response is triggered in our brains.

Almost certainly the best thing I was ever told about owls was when I met an owl handler at an owl sanctuary and he told me that the wild owls who lived near the sanctuary worried about the tame show owls there and sometimes stopped by to leave them shrews and mice as presents.
