One of the most effective means for those in power are campaigns of disinformation. Truth is inevitably laid bare but always at a cost, stripped of its context and woven with so much additional junk data - the mythologizing, the farce, encouraging religious psychosis and furthering mental harm.

Think for the most part that Fallout’s second season managed to stick the landing and leave us with some great moments in this ep and compelling material to anticipate. Even if some of it ultimately feels like a strange retread in a sea of already strange-feeling creative choices, here and there.

When self-styled GamerGate 2.0 came for my friends (and, to a lesser extent, me), trying to explain to my extended family that I was getting death threats because I’m a queer femme video-game dev during a US election year made me feel insane
