Really fucking sad today, and full of un-festive grumpiness.
I worked so hard this year, but feel like I ended the year having backslid in every way. Financially & emotionally drained; a deep feeling of weariness from constant diligent work, for no appreciation, credit given, or ground gained.

For Christmas this year, I’d love just a little peace and quiet. And some free time to myself that coincides with me not being exhausted from working to meet other people’s wants/needs/demands.
Pretty sure all I’m getting this year is more tedious labor and lots of screaming/chaos.

I will never ever ever understand how the Biden administration had all this nuclear-level dirt on Trump and didn't pull the ripcord. You can try to explain it but it will never make sense.

In optimistic/non-doom news, I'm approaching the finish line on two different luthiery projects:
1) A white oak Telecaster, mostly made from my brother Sam's felled white oak from his yard in IL.
2) A multi-scale 5-string bass, with a crazy myrtle burl top.
Hoping to have both of these done soon.

I've been on a limited diet most of the week, and today I am on clear liquids only diet. Later today I have to take laxatives, then drink a gallon of nasty prep fluid, then shit my brains out.
