A. Space has cosmic radiation. A LOT. When a charged particle impacts say an SSD, unless that storage is shielded with lead, bits will be changed. Ie data degradation.
B. Setting satellites and people in orbit is expensive, even with reusable rockets.
C. Remote servicing system
