Being an impressionable teen during the full-court press on pitching them to a new generation when they did their big reunion tour in '96 was so funny. Listening to Jerry Cantrell and Billy Corgan talk about how cool and influential they were and then hearing some shitty caveman grunt of a song.
Others are saying it and I will too: KISS is the worst major band in the history of rock 'n' roll. They've got nothing, no chunes. Their hits are like "here's a halfway decent chorus 90 times." Worst disco song by a rock band too. Plus they're bad ppl! I'll grant them She and Deuce and that is *it.*

Yes, I paid $40 for the "Dirtier Cut" of a movie that doesn't benefit at all from being in 4K and features like three gags that weren't in the theatrical version. It's called being a patron of the arts.

Fascinating confluence of events. Aykroyd begrudgingly directing (on top of playing a dual role) because no one liked his script, newly-minted megastar Demi's follow-up to Ghost, the beginning of the end for Chevy as a lead, a studio stuck with an expensive and unmarketable dud.
People apparently have doubts about the reality of this movie. And tbh I’ve definitely seen it and also have doubts. One of the coke sweat fever dreams that was greenlit as entertainment that my generation had to accept as movies.
