Does anybody wanna see one of the ugliest buildings in Brooklyn? It’s the fucked up apartment building they made subway themed for some reason.

I miss when Twitter was truly great like the time a guy got upset at someone calling out a cricket team and started explaining how bowling worked and at the end OP was like "thanks for explaining btw I hold the world record for most career outs in cricket history"

Merits of the idea aside, it's hard for me to see how this could pass First Amendment scrutiny (even if you ignore the pretty blatant viewpoint-based motivation in passing it)
Zionists want NY state to pass a law that would ban protests outside houses of worship – a clear attempt to outlaw pro-Palestinian demonstrations outside synagogues that promote settlement in the West Bank – and they believe Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is on board. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/24/n...

It’s neither the lawful answer nor is it the oath they took.
BLITZER: I want to be precise. Should members of the US military obey clearly illegal orders?

McCLAIN: You're asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal. That's a pretty slippery slope. Follow your commander in chief. That's the oath that you took

(Not a no!)

Breaking character: I am open to the idea the media's coverage of Biden's age and mental acuity was fair or perhaps not even tough enough. But the fact that it was so much tougher than the coverage of Trump's (more severe) mental decline is damning and I can't see how anyone could argue otherwise.
NYT isn’t worth reading because they are in the bag for Trump

A fun fact about Ted Cruz at HLS is he got into Law Review to boost his chances of getting a clerkship and then didn't do any work the entire year.

Also he was constantly hitting on 1Ls as a 3L.

when I was in law school everyone knew that joining the federalist society was like getting tsa precheck for a clerkship
I’m a law prof & a YLS grad and anyone familiar w elite law schools knows it is beyond laughable to describe these places as radicalism hotbeds. Cruz knows this, as does JD Vance. But they assume that their marks are too unsophisticated to know it too. It’s condescending as hell.

Just remembering how one of the most important and widely read and dropped-with-maximally-damaging-timing "Biden is old and senile" pieces was reported by Nuzzi. It makes you think!
well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.
