Aaah das kenne ich. Ich hatte am Abend vorher immer so eine Laune, dass ich zu Tode gelangweilt war, aber mich auf nichts konzentrieren konnte und mir nichts Spaß gemacht hat. Und jedes Mal dachte ich wieder: "Was ist bloß los mit mir? So war ich doch früher nicht??" 🫠

The problem is that, for about 15, maybe even 25 years now, we have learnt to implicitly assume that anything there is slightly janky video footage of has to be "real", and this notion is what AI video is specifially engineered to exploit.

100%. I think you need to approach viral security camera footage with even more skepticism because the format can often mask other red flags for AI.

See also the animals on trampolines videos that were very easy to fall for because they were presented as nighttime security camera footage (the format also justified why they were very short clips, which is another genAI limitation).
