CBS News would never put a thinly sourced 'story' by a rookie blogger like this on it's air. Until now. The Free Press isn't a journalism outlet, it's bloggers aren't reporters. This piece is more NYPost than Tiffany Network but I guess that's the goal.

Been reading this, a sobering account of the experience of William Dodd, the US Ambassador to Germany, as he and his family arrived in Berlin in 1933 and witnessed Hitler’s attainment of full power and all the rising horrors that accompanied it.

Parallels to 2025 USA are EVERYWHERE, guys.

The movie villain Trump most consistently reminds me of is Christopher Walken as Max Zorin in A View to a Kill: a rich, amoral thug just grinning and laughing as he machine-guns his own people without a second thought.

Note: The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize will be awarded based on events in 2024, when Trump wasn’t even president.

He *might* be eligible in 2026, but by then he’ll be randomly shooting ppl from the White House roof like Ralph Fiennes in Schindler’s List, so it’ll be a tough sell.
