The genocide in Darfur was the first Cause I ever truly cared about. I raised UNICEF funds for Sudan in my tiny town in rural Idaho. It’s happening again. Like another Holocaust occurring in the 1960s.

Please help them. Your money will save lives.

1999 WTO is the single worst historical event to argue the anarchists were outside agitators creating chaos for a genuine and good movement. Like, they will try to argue it about every social movement but the anarchist role as mediators and movement-connectors in 99 was just so thoroughly documented

Your account is outright dishonest.

First—anarchists participated in constructing the coalitions between labor, environmentalists, and other activists.

More egregiously—the police violence began many hours before the black bloc. You are misrepresenting the causal chain of events. Citations below.

We can't really say this enough...

67%???? To track your ADULT CHILD??
People are very hard on young people on here, lack of critical thinking, lack of responsibility etc, and then you see something like this and it all makes a different kind of sense.

I’m gonna draw a controversial conclusion from this, but it’s one I don’t think is actually wrong.

The reason “cancellation” for sex pest reasons actually boosts careers is that a majority of men identify sympathetically with these men.

I think a majority of men have violated women’s boundaries.
Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

for the record, I remember when the country people said this about was Japan and I felt it was confusing then as well. People walking around talking about how they feel safe, I always wonder how many crimes they've personally experienced walking around NYC at night

This was more relevant when writers were assumed to have grown up on a farm, been to war and traveled in a different country, then moved to the big city before going to a writing workshop.

The podcast's tagline is, "Family therapy through politics." Frankly, I think it's some sort of sick debasement ritual to stick this out. They can call the parents stupid, but who are the stupid ones, the morally nihilistic authoritarians or the ones expecting them to change? Let's get real.
On “The Necessary Conversation” podcast, Chad’s Trump supporter parents tell him the military should follow Trump’s illegal orders and kill everyone in LA if Trump commanded it — even with him and his sister in the city😳

When my uncle died, I got a call at work and I called back during break. I went back to work, then cried in the bathroom. I went back to work.

I’d like to think this is an Amazon problem but it wasn’t. I genuinely can’t handle the inhumanity of capitalism.

Federal immigration enforcement officials called off a planned raid on Canal Street today shortly before it was slated to begin.

New Yorkers who heard about the raid showed up at the garage where the feds had gathered, and as federal agents tried to leave, the NYPD cleared the way for them.
