Many good things about this book, including that if you say the title aloud it sounds like Hi-Ex Bastards, which would be an great name for a Judge Dredd story

Reading a book from the 1970s where the main character has an extremely medically inaccurate stroke. I’d write to the author to complain but sadly he died in 1994 (not of a stroke)

I always liked the bit in Network where they're making a reality tv show about the Ecumenical Liberation Army, so I'm glad someone decided to make a thriller with a lot of stoner comedy about them instead and call it One Battle After Another
