News outlets like @wsj.com have a critical responsibility to report the truth.

Promoting false information that ties our LGBTQ+ community to the Utah shooting is reckless, irresponsible, and puts trans people especially in danger.

Anyone with a platform must do better. Lives are on the line.
I AM SO JEALOUS. THIS WOULD BE MY DREAM SPOT (bonus if there was a train right there!!) Lidl for the win!!!

"The (Atlanta) BeltLine 'lost its way from a transit and trails project to this transformative real estate development project,' said Dan Immergluck"

For a deeper dive on the Beltline, here is Chapter 2 from Red Hot City.

I don’t think people understand any of this stuff at all. They don’t understand that income taxes, go to things in the city and the state. And then they’ll be the first ones to complain about the other forms of taxes increasing dramatically. And I bet you property taxes will go skyrocketing.
You know, as much as I have to agree with so many better ways to utilize this land. I have to agree with you that putting things in here that is not parking, is a smart idea. This at least forms a true downtown for Atlanta for people that are visiting. Making this almost a true destination.
Honestly I wish there was some way to “sue” to get our money back. If you are not going to use it for what passed, then give it back. For me, if another referendum comes up, it will be harder to support. Atl needs to wake up and realize we need transit now.
This is what I want to see from every city. The aim should be that we can enjoy our days from start to finish.
As Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo put it: "A city where you can get let go of your child's hand"
Pedestrianized streets let kids be kids (and let parents relax a little)
It is just me or does it seem that leaders across the board want MARTA to fail? In my 6 years of living here it just seems that they just kick the can until it will officially break.
Not at all. I think we are losing momentum that was there in 2015-2017. When Covid happened a lot has changed. Do I think this will happen, eventually I want to say it will. But it will take a massive mindset shift to get to break ground.
Of course - I always say yes. I am now working to get our bike parking at my condo to be better, more friendly, and even looking for weather protection. Ideas are rumbling.
Can this count as my final ride?? Hahaha. This was a great day!
I bike this intersection everyday and I hate it everyday. It is wide what I have to do sometimes to get down the side road. I wish we would and maybe with recent events, we will.

NEXT SATURDAY!!! Come join & encourage ample housing, local retail, interesting design, & quality materials for new housing coming to Reynoldstown!

There will definitely be NIMBY’s in attendance and people against retail.

If you want a more walkable Atlanta, show your support!
