Sports are sex segregated so that totally average men can walk around thinking they could probably beat Serena Williams, Megan Rapinoe or A'ja Wilson at their sports if they really had to, just cause they're men, in much the same way those same men think they would probably do alright vs a bear.
Say it with me y'all sex segregation in sports is to protect mens feelings
(From 2019): A breakaway female cyclist was forced to stop during a prestigious race in Belgium after she started to catch up with the men’s competition, which had started 10 minutes earlier.

Just want to add: Being convicted of a crime in the U.S. wouldn’t justify sending someone to a foreign gulag to be tortured, and arguably violates separation of powers since the “sentence” they are legally bound to serve is one issued by a judge, not Stephen Miller (i.e. the factoid is irrelevant)
Bari Weiss lied in her memo. She said segment didn't report administration's legal justification (it does in the very first sentence) and didn't say how many detainees had been charged with crimes as opposed to just those who were convicted (it does). www.muellershewrote.com/p/watch-the-...

periodically I'll see a backlash that goes a little too far or seems kinda unfair. i never say anything because i think we need to be kinda unhinged and zealous in our response to this shit. I'd take an honest-to-God crusade against this stuff over letting it proliferate.
We can do even more.

I keep saying this but no one is connecting the dots. The war is to satisfy legal preconditions for mass removal *domestically* of Latinos (i.e., suddenly a lot of people are going to be “Venezuelan” for purposes of removal). This is 100% Stephen Miller…oil claim is to make grandpa go along
There is no national security logic that would impel the US to want to do regime change in Venezuela. It's simply not that important. I'm not even sure wag the dog is the right metaphor for what's happening here. Seems like an insane misallocation of US national security assets and attention.
Trump: "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled ... It will only get bigger, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the USA all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us."

When the AI boom began, copywriters were singled out as one of the jobs most vulnerable to AI. Now, three years later, I wanted to hear from workers on the frontlines of the industry, to hear what had actually taken place on the ground.

For many, it was even worse than they'd feared.

Copywriters were one of the first to have their jobs targeted by AI firms. These are their stories, three years into the AI era.

So stop saying “they voted for this”.

The whole world didn’t vote for Trump. The whole US didn’t vote for Trump. Not even a whole red state voted for Trump.

And not a single human being deserves what he’s doing regardless of how they voted.

Start giving a shit.

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

When I hear "crypto" and "economic experiments" in the same sentence, why is it that I am reminded of Josef Mengele?
Coinbase is piloting "crypto basic income" in NYC.

A new stage of financial experiments on poor people. Crypto makes it possible to run previously unfathomable levels of economic experiments.

Coinbase is one of the most menacing things in the world right now.

In May he commuted the 6x life sentences of the leader of the Gangster Disciples, most notorious drug trafficking & murderous street gang in the US.

Now Honduran drug trafficker Hernandez.

Is Trump setting up his own drug corridor?
