For #WorldPhotographyDay I'd like to share my favorite image I've taken this year.

#Toronto harbour froze after weeks of negative temps, I decided to do a photo day on the islands in February. A snowstorm started and the cityscape disappeared, but as I ventured out onto the ice, it revealed itself.

Side effect of running out of distilled water for my espresso machine is I've been using the other brewers for a change. I forgot how good a cup of Aeropress coffee can be and the stovetop Moka pot is a throwback to my university days where i learned to pack it tightly to get a strong cup of joe.

Conrad was the name of a raccoon that died on the corner of Yonge and Church in the summer of 2015. And though Conrad was just a raccoon, he was human enough to inspire compassion and warmth in the hearts of Torontonians. This is a monument in his honour that moves around the city.
