I lost my job, my kids have measles, and my town is flooded with cocaine now that Trump pardoned all the traffickers. But at least the State Department is using Times New Roman again.

Why are we living in this bizarre timeline when people have the tools but refuse to use them?

There’s a Samuel Beckett play in here somewhere.

This is great because it demonstrates that transphobes actually do know that gender has nothing to do with anatomy or genetics. These are gingerbread men despite having no penis or testicles, and DNA that is mostly butter.
Nothing says getting into the festive spirit like going online to shout at some biscuits

Nuzzi is the type of journalist who treats politics as offering entertaining characters, and zero stakes or substance.

She has had a remarkably successful career within that particular genre.

Her self-immolation, along with this vacuous memoir, illustrates the genre’s limits.

What a coincidence, the map of higher-income areas of Toronto lines up with the map of shorter commutes.

And the lower-income areas (Scarborough and northern Etobicoke) have longer commutes!

Someone should do something about this.

It’s way past time for every WH reporter to speak out to Trump’s face when he’s insulting female reporters. Is your access so critical that you’ll allow your colleagues to be abused?

FDA claims on COVID-19 vaccine safety are unsupported by reliable data – and could severely hinder vaccine access
The agency’s plan to change the well-established process for safety testing vaccines is not realistic.

For decades, Canadians have been able to send braille and other materials, including heavy braille typewriters, through Canada Post for free through the "Literature for the Blind" exemption in the Canada Post Corporations Act. That exemption is now at risk of being cancelled.

The Carney government is defunding free mail services for the blind, to save a whopping million dollars. A drop in the bucket compared to the billions that were squandered by Canada Post against the warnings of the union.

They've disregarded all questions about it so far.

I am baffled by this because I have had so many friends with shingles and NONE of them made it sound fun. Not one. A vaccine that made me absolutely miserable for 48 hours would still be a huge improvement over the mildest case of shingles I've heard of. (Also it made me tired for 1 day.)
All over my FB people talking about their bad experiences with shingles vax and dissuading each other from getting it! We need to give people real info on how to mitigate the symtoms caused by vaccines because vaccines are always better than meeting a virus unprepared. Yet drs aren't coaching ppl
