Not to be dramatic but being around Americans and their positivity is exhausting. I’ve saw 3 hi-fives over the most mundane of things

I don't quite think companies understand how to make customers happy anymore. I called customer service trying to blag a cabin upgrade as a goodwill gesture.

Agent: "No if you want compensation upload your recepits to [url]"

It isn't just about the compensation, it is about the added stress.

It's this but then the exterminator sends you text messages asking for more money every 3 hours for the rest of your life
the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

Why are liberals shocked by these bombings? This is literally textbook behaviour by the U.S. They've been doing it since their founding.

incredibly wild that we live in a country that the government gets you to upload your id in order to have a chug so as to "protect children" while simultanously shurgging as our social media overlords allow for their ai to create inappropriate images of children.
This does seem just a little bit bad! Idk the sort of thing you’d think politicians might distance themselves from or something!

Reading & writing has kept me alive this year.

Somehow, it’s been my most productive year as an author.

Here’s a guide to what I’ve published in 2025, in case you’ve lost track.
