I suppose I'd best get on and fill this in. Psychologist, Prof, writer, former head of department and university research integrity advisor. Research and consultancy: smell/taste; food; horror; comedy; the brain. Email: [email protected]

And so, it begins! (again). NEWS. The 8th edition of Psychology will be out in 2026! This means, I think, that I should start writing it.
I think it tells you a lot, not that you needed telling a lot, about #newsnight that it labelled Gillian Tett as "Columnist, Financial Times" rather than "PROVOST, KING'S COLLEGE CAMBRIDGE". A kilner jar of naff media Herberts talking to themselves.

Like everyone, I'm baffled by this - but I think with a tweak it could have worked. I don't do my Christmas shopping at Argos, not because I think they only do toys, but because it's where I'd buy a drill or a kettle, not a nice gift item. Maybe that's the perception they needed to break?
Why is Will from the Inbetweeners* doing a TV advert spreading awareness that Argos sells more than just toys? Of course it does, it’s Argos. I feel like there’s a whole cultural perception of Argos that’s passed me by

Perfect example of media Herbert failure. Few of them can do their jobs. Except Chris Mason, who is marvellous. (Gibb, you can let go of my underpants, now)
This is a lesson on how not to ask questions
Don’t ask him if he said racist things

Say “ This is just one example of what fellow school pupils say you said (to a Jewish pupil) : “Hitler was right” “Gas them” making hissing noises

Did you say that?
Did you make hissing noises?
“I would never ever do it in a hurtful or insulting way”

Nigel Farage responds to allegations of racist behaviour from when he was a teenager at school

Badenoch: There are now 491,000 claims in the employment tribunal backlog. Which shows how dangerous Labour's Employment Rights Bill is.

Er... why are there now 491,000 claims in the employment tribunal backlog? How long did it take to build that lot up?

It is astonishing that virtually every motorway and major road has a “built with the assistance of the EU“ sign on it and the doughnuts are still obsessing with the Russiophilac racists
The A55 upgrade received tens of millions from YUP you guessed it EU funding as part of the Trans European Transport Network.

So yes, sure, turn up and listen to him witter on ... and vote for him if you want Wales... but he's done NOTHING for you and never ever will.

Whereas the EU did loads.
