Just like the excessive use of death and resurrection in the Big Two comics, having every Event have global-to-universal ramifications makes the stakes seem less impactful - especially when there HAS to be an Event every year.

The Hearth (1/21)

A sapphic horror comic about witchcraft and hunger in the dead of winter.
