Amazing to watch a government just totally squander a big parliamentary majority through incompetence, an absence of leadership, and a total lack of of ideological coherence. The fact that they started election campaigning on day one reveals the paucity of ideas - get elected to get elected again.

Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

If anyone is at all interested I can get you in contact with her owners, they'll be happy to discuss whether it would work, she's such a sweet dog I'm desperate for her to avoid having to go to a shelter or something
If anyone knows anyone in or near Cardiff who would like an old spaniel who just needs a quiet house and a lot of love and attention in her final years please let me know, I will walk and dog sit for very cheap if you need, if that helps
