For better or worse, I fell hard for these characters in TFA, and all I’ve wanted from Star Wars since is to follow them on new adventures.

Instead, Lucasfilm seems to have just disavowed that whole era, and… it sucks, y’know?

Worth noting: After the end of the three-year pilot program this year, the Irish government found that for every pound invested, they got 43% profit. Keeping artists alive and financially safe is not just for moral good, it's also beneficial in terms of economics. Just let artists keep making art.

I think many people of various ideological persuasions are missing how much the ground has shifted against Trump in the realm of public opinion in the last 9 months. Mostly because they’ve bought into the manufactured media narrative that Trump won a “mandate”—which wasn’t true.
