Trump’s words carry no truth or meaning. They are intended only to solicit feelings in the hearer: hate, fear, loyalty, doubt, etc. Some people may feel comforted by his blatant BS about drug costs.

Boo hoo. WaPo editorial page has gone hard right, generally pro-Trump. Its news pages normalize and feature Trump in nearly every headline, even when the story is on another topic. I’m a 25-yr print subscriber so the swift decline is plain to see. Subscription cancelled.

When 2% of the US population takes a day off to express extreme disfavor of the president, it is politically significant. Trump is weaker and more frightened today than he was on Friday. We can build on this.
