You guys, I don't know. I think the reason the Spurs keep beating the pants off the defending champions is they themselves might be a good basketball team.

Asking questions is not hate, although I can see how you might interpret it that way. No one challenges you on X. Here we do. That must be so hard for someone who has never really been questioned.

You experience social media differently.
Bluesky provides unique control to the user.
What’s good for some on Twitter/X and Facebook/Meta is not good for all.
mark cuban is currently whining about how on bluesky he is sometimes told to go fuck himself

on x i got constant death and rape threats including one time where i was sent a video of a south american trans woman being shot in the face

so, sure, who is to say which platform is worse?

idiot.
No shock. This app has turned my mentions, and others, into mostly hate. But there are a few people worth connecting with

CRAZY how it's easier these days to have a real discussion on X, or threads, than on here.

For lots of folks, Level 1 (regular 110-volt outlet) is plenty if they can stay plugged in overnight. 30-50 miles of range is longer than many commutes AND an apartment complex generally knows how long its typical residents’ commute is (how far is downtown?).

after much consideration, we've made the hard decision to...foster fail Tibalt. 🤣

We're going to keep him! He bonded really well with our cats and the idea of trying to find him another home after he was returned once broke my heart. So here he shall stay, happy and warm. 💕

In norway, cars powered by batteries only outnumber cars of any other category. Gas powered cars are few.
“As of the end of November, BEVs comprised 31.78% of the fleet, while diesels comprised 31.76%.”

Owning an electric vehicle decreases range anxiety, the fear the battery will run out of charge before you get to a charger.
It decreases even more the longer you own an ev.
The results of the study matches my experience as an owner of electric vehicles, too.

“We’ve got roughly 120 kWh sitting in our garage, thanks to our Nissan Leaf and Hyundai Ioniq. And we’ve got almost 40 kW of solar on the roof. So we’re already at the delicious point where we don’t get power bills - the energy company pays us”

Favorite article about electric vehicles in the US in more than a year.
I’m not in the market for a new vehicle, but if i were, I’d give the Kia Ev3 a close look.
So much to be hopeful for from this great lineup of new Ev’a coming in 2026!

It's funny how us parochial Americans generally seem to perceive that the EV revolution is stalling or reversing when in fact it's accelerating rapidly worldwide. 25% of cars sold globally in 2025 were EVs!

It's mostly just the US that's being left behind
December 23, 2025 at 9:17 PM
And people who know something, too! I hear the trump like fear of battery replacement from normally reasonable people who should know better if they read more about the current state of batteries in cars!
CAN PEOPLE WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS STOP FEAR MONGERING ABOUT BATTERY REPLACEMENTS IN EVS AND HYBRIDS
December 24, 2025 at 2:32 AM
Level 2 chargers are all you need!
It is very important to me that we do not tell apartment complexes that they need fast chargers for EVs. They need level 2 chargers. Not more than is used by a dryer or electric range.

When you're charging overnight, you do not need crazy voltage.

Someone should do a skit with an out-of-town guest about the Chiefs news today.

Interviewer: "Did you hear the Chiefs are building a new stadium?"
Guest: "Where are they moving to?"
Interviewer: "Kansas City"
Guest: "Where did they play previously?"

I want to express my deep appreciation to all the first responders, emergency personnel, and neighbors helping neighbors, going above and beyond to serve.

I see exactly that, over and over again, in communities across the state. It’s inspiring at a time like this.
