Had some real honest to god wins this month but also just a steady, grating, continuous string of low grade misfortune and moderate conflict added to the background voltage of the political climate and I’m both wildly depressed AND anxiously irritable

Many sea stars begin life as young fairy-like creature (called a brachiolaria) that float through the open ocean. Eventually, a small star forms within them (here in yellow). The fairy-like brachiolaria sinks under the star’s weight, and the star pops out!

Found a new gender care doc for my son, my oldest has really skyrocketed in self confidence after 2 years of debilitating anxiety, I’m remodeling my sad kitchen after 10 years, and with the kids both finally in school at once I’m getting time for art, the horses, decluttering, maybe finish my degree

I’m in a ‘trans people having fun and being happy’ group on Facebook so whenever I’m forced to go there I will actually see uplifting things! Good things do happen to us!

Sold hundreds of dollars of plants locally, rehomed animals, met some people I admire, traveled to some places I otherwise wouldn’t have gone, supported a ton of artists, developed new kinks, completely reframed my politics, lost my religion and gender, gained a lot of good mental health insights

Made a lot of friends, wrote a ton of words, have done like four fundraisers that significantly improved people’s lives that definitely couldn’t have happened without it, picked up innumerable hobbies, kept up on news that isn’t reported, learned 3450393 fun facts, gave away native plants
